An international perspective on sustainable development
During this academic year and throughout study cases, fieldtrips, observation and experimental work, students acquire an international vision on sustainable development and environmental management.
A six-month internship in an international context
At the end of the year, an internship allows students to use skills needed to conduct independent field projects: direct observation and data collection, research design, data analysis, etc.
Development of professional expertise
In addition to the courses, students will meet various professionals through the organization of seminars and projects to improve their skills. Students will gain managerial competence which is highly requested by industries and agencies.
Field experiences to develop your expertise
A European view on biodiversity, ecology and sustainable development is given through different field experiences: fieldtrips in nature (bords de la Loire) and several days in the Green city of Freiburg (Germany).

Career paths
For which profiles ?
This 2nd year Master in Environmental Management is designed for students who have completed their first year of a Master in a related field (biology, ecology, geography, environment, chemistry, geology, urban planning) and for students who have previously graduated with a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science in any of the life and natural sciences. Students who have completed their Bachelor degree in four years and in a related field can also apply to the program.
